Not completely sure, but I do believe it is a Tgb13 converted for use as a link between the target observers and the artillery guns. The observers send their information to the "pjäsplats" tgb and then the personnel relays it to the guns closest to the target.

This is a TGB13  also called tgb131A mortartower but it is equiped with radio stations in the rear passanger compartment.

These cars are very rare.

It can be compared with a TGB11 version 1112. Wich are the TGB11 radiocab.

Yes Pjäs could be a houwitzer or a mortar. Or gun for all people that can not tell the differens.

#3: I don't think that the TGB131A is the same as TGB1321A!

TGB131A is just a TGB11 but with 3 axles and 1m longer.
It was used to carry the soldiers operating some kind of gun and also towing that gun. As you say, they are quite rare.

According to my servicemanual the TGB1321A is also 3 axles BUT it has the big cabin. It is very similar to the TGB1313 "stabsbil" but it has som other communication equipment. This was used to guide the fire and communicated with the gun-crews and with other forces.

#8: Strange… My manual talks about 1321 in the same chapter as the big cabins. I'll try to find a scanner next week and scan the pages!

I did check in some old documentation from FMW

and found this. Unfortunaly this is not in english but I belive that most of you in this tread understands, sorry Kany. But this is just another proof of that my ideas are not that far off when it comes to what is a TGB 1321A
